Nail technician cover letter example
A strong nail technician cover letter names your qualification and the services you do well, then gives one real example of a client who kept coming back. It should also show that you work cleanly and safely and keep a record of each client.

The Nail Loft
Dear Ms Laurent,
I am writing to apply for the Nail Technician position at The Nail Loft, which I saw on your social media page. I have a Level 2 qualification in Nail Services and two years of experience in a busy high-street nail bar, where I do up to eight appointments a day.
I am confident with gel polish, infills and full sets of extensions, and I enjoy nail art such as French tips, chrome and hand-painted designs. I keep a record card for every client with colours, products and any reactions, and I check nails and skin before each treatment. A client who had bitten her nails for years now has a full set she is proud of, and she sends her friends to me.
I would like to join The Nail Loft because I like the clean, bright style of your work and the care you take over hygiene. I can work Saturdays, late evenings and Sundays, and I arrive early to set up my station properly.
I would be happy to do a trial set or come in for an interview. Thank you for reading my application.
Yours sincerely,
Precious Adeyemi
Tips for a nail technician cover letter
- Put your qualification and years of experience in the first paragraph
- Name the services you do well, such as gel, infills, extensions and nail art
- Mention record cards, allergy checks and cleaning between clients to show that you work safely
- Give one example of a client who rebooks or recommends you
- Offer a trial set, since many salons want to see your work before they decide
