Your details deserve care.
Ceev saves your drafts and purchased CVs against a private session in the browser you use, without an account or sign-in. Your CV details are used to prepare, edit and deliver your documents.
Who looks after your data

What we process
Contact details, experience and qualifications you enter; generated versions; account and consent records; purchase and subscription records. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for a CV. Your support reference is not a sign-in credential.
AI and service providers
To write your CV, we send your confirmed facts and optional job description to OpenAI with storage switched off. We instruct it not to invent facts, and we check its output against what you told us. You should still review the result. The website is hosted by Vercel. Your account and private records are kept in our own database on a server in the EU (Hetzner, Finland). Payments will be handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Transfer terms, legal bases and contractual retention must be confirmed before launch.
Files and downloads
Public uploads are disabled until a malware scanner is configured. Pasted text remains available. Once enabled, originals must pass scanning in private quarantine before extraction. Downloads require the browser session the CV was made in and a valid unlock. Email delivery will never be required to retrieve a purchased CV.
Retention proposed for review
- Original files: remove 24 hours after extraction is confirmed.
- Unpaid drafts: remove after 30 days without activity.
- Paid documents: review for removal after 12 months without activity, with advance warning.
- Backups may retain deleted data until the configured backup expiry. The exact backup window and legal purchase-record retention remain to be published.
These are proposed launch rules. Automated retention and advance-warning delivery must be enabled and tested before public use. You can delete a CV now from your account, removing its source and generated versions. Exports are generated on demand and are not retained by the application.
Reminders and your choices
Marketing reminders are optional and unchecked when you register. If opted in, we plan at most two reminders after 24 and 72 hours of inactivity. Completion, deletion, unsubscribing or changing your preference stops them. No real reminders are sent until a provider and official address are configured.
Your rights and contact
Account access, correction, deletion, data export, objections and other applicable privacy requests: email support@ceev.co.uk from the address on your account. We aim to respond within one month. The account page lets you correct details and change reminder consent. Essential secure session cookies keep you signed in.
