Project coordinator cover letter example
A strong project coordinator cover letter shows that you spot delays early, keep people informed and stay organised under pressure. One example of a problem you caught and fixed is worth more than a list of tools.

Calder Valley Developments
Dear Mr Bellamy,
I am applying for the Project Coordinator position at Calder Valley Developments. I currently coordinate up to eight refurbishment projects at once for a regional building company, tracking tasks against the programme, chasing suppliers and keeping cost trackers up to date.
What I do best is spot delays early. On a recent office fit-out a plasterboard delivery slipped by a week. I told the project manager the same morning, found another supplier who could deliver in three days and re-ordered the following trades, so the handover date did not move. I take the minutes at every meeting and send the action list the same day, which means people know what they have to do.
Calder Valley's mix of housing and small commercial schemes is what I would like to work on next, and I would like to take the PRINCE2 Foundation course if you support training. I am confident with Excel and scheduling, I enjoy keeping clients and site teams in the loop, and I am comfortable working on site as well as in the office.
Thank you for your time. I would welcome the chance to talk further.
Yours sincerely,
Tomasz Kowalski
Tips for a project coordinator cover letter

- Say roughly how many projects you coordinate at once and what kind they are
- Mention the trackers, schedules or software you use, such as Excel or project planning tools
- Show that you write clear updates and minutes, since coordinators communicate all day
- Say whether you are comfortable on site as well as in the office
