Marketing assistant cover letter example
A strong marketing assistant cover letter shows that you can do practical work such as posts, emails and events, and that you learn from what works. A simple result, like follower or sign-up growth, is more persuasive than saying you are creative.

Little Orchard Foods
Dear Ms Pearce,
I am writing to apply for the Marketing Assistant role at Little Orchard Foods. I have spent the last year as marketing assistant at a family-run food and drink producer, where I write and schedule social posts, send a monthly newsletter and update our website.
Over that year our Instagram following grew from about 1,800 to 2,600, and our newsletter now reaches around 3,000 people. The posts that worked best were simple: a short story about the people who make the products, with one clear photo. I learned that by checking what people clicked on and doing more of it. I also designed our posters and price lists in Canva and helped run two food fair stalls.
I like what Little Orchard Foods does with local growers, and I think your story would suit short, friendly content. I would enjoy helping with events and email campaigns, and I am careful with spelling, dates and deadlines, so things go out when they should.
Thank you for reading my letter. I would love to talk about your plans for the coming season.
Yours sincerely,
Freya Dunmore
