Questions about plumber CVs

Do I need Gas Safe registration to be a plumber?

Not for plumbing work that does not involve gas, such as bathrooms and water systems. Gas work is different, so only list Gas Safe registration if you hold it and do that work.

What is the difference between NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing?

Level 2 is usually the first full plumbing qualification, and Level 3 shows more advanced skill. List the level you hold and the year you finished.

How do I get plumbing work with little experience?

Show your college course, placements and the tasks you have helped with. Many firms take on keen people who are still learning the trade.
