Tips for a labourer CV
- List your CSCS card and its type if you hold one, plus any safety tickets such as manual handling or working at height
- Name the tasks you have done, such as mixing, digging, loading or clearing, rather than just writing 'labouring'
- Mention any small plant or power tools you can use and whether you were trained on them
- State that you have a full UK driving licence and your own transport, if that is true
- Show reliability through good attendance and being on site and ready at the usual start time
- Name the trades you have worked with, such as bricklayers or groundworkers, so the employer can see where you fit
