IT support technician CV example
A strong IT support technician CV shows the systems and problems you have handled, how you talk to people who are not technical, and how you keep track of tickets. It should name real tools and any certificates, without a long list of buzzwords.

Tips for a it support technician CV
- List the systems you support, such as Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Google Workspace, rather than a general 'IT skills' line
- Include certificates such as CompTIA A+ or a Microsoft fundamentals certificate only if you hold them, with the year
- Say how many users you support and roughly how many tickets you handle, to show the scale of your work
- Show that you can explain technical points simply, and give one example of helping a worried or frustrated user
- If you are new to paid IT work, mention a home lab, such as a small network or a rebuilt PC
- Match your skills to the advert instead of listing everything you have ever used
